MARK THIS- A POWERFUL REVELATION OF THE HOUR

In this foundation to the message I want to right away talk about faith and the enemy of the same that at the end of this, you will begin to see what you should try so hard not to be and the way out of that dangerous zone. The book of 2 Tim is the best place to begin:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

As disciples of Christ, we've entered into terrible times both because we are more at danger of loosing our FAITH and lives than it was in the beginning. However looking at this portion, it's as though Paul ignores the danger of loosing the life in the flesh and rather focuses on elements that puts our faith at danger.

In other words, when the above mentioned things manifest in any one of us, then they have entered into the danger of losing their most precious gift —the saving grace and power.

Analyzing further, reveals two groups of people that pose danger to faith. Those who posses these 👇

lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

👆 And those who have a form of godliness but deny it's power

The latter, Paul advises that you have nothing to do with ! Seems to me that in stages of apostasy, the worst part is when people can see you as holy ( you poses a form of godliness) meaning, you'll be doing things that actually show that you are holy and that your way of practicing faith will exhibit godliness but just one thing will guide a seasoned disciple in identifying you — you deny the power of godliness

And by being in denial of that power, you become unsafe to the body of Christ.

“When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”(Lk 18, 8)

AND SEND ME THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO HELP TO FIND RIGHTEOUSNESS AND WATERS OF LIFE
